"Textbooks on Reserve" at the Cabrillo Library

If the cost of a required textbook is $50.00 or more, a single copy of that textbook is now on Reserve at the Cabrillo Library for shared use.

This innovative textbook loan program has been funded by a generous grant from the Cabrillo College Student Senate. The goal of the program is to guarantee that at least one copy of the most expensive required textbooks is on reserve at the library.

Students may:
     1. Look up the title of a textbook in the library catalog, or
     2. Look up the Course Name or Instructor Name under "Course Reserves," or
     3. Ask a librarian for help locating the textbook's call number.
     4. These textbooks have library call numbers. Write down the call number of the textbook and request the book at the check out desk.
     5. The textbooks can be checked out for a 2 hour loan period.
